Digital
Citizenship Vision
Our
society is changing faster than ever due to advancements in technology.
Reyburn Intermediate community, staff, and administration understand the
importance of educating students and advising the community how to positively
utilize technology through lessons and outreach regarding safety, privacy,
cyberbullying, and maintaining a positive digital presence. We understand
the need to assist our next generation in becoming strong digital citizens that
demonstrate appropriate behavior in regards to technology use in order to
become future-ready role models.
PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT
- Staff
will be given an in-service on the importance of teaching students about
digital citizenship using Common Sense Media’s Digital Citizenship
curriculum
- Follow-up
emails and visits will be done after initial in-service
- Supplies
will be provided for teachers to make any copies of materials needed
- TOSA – Instructional Technology will be available when
needed to assist teachers with implementation
