The Reagan Education Center English Language Arts (ELA) program offers students a cohesive seventh through twelfth grade learning experience. Students in grades seven and eight receive ELA instruction through their Academic Block classes. Seventh grade Academic Block consists of one Language period and one World History period. Eight grade Academic Block consists of one Language period and one US History period. Eight grade students also have the option of taking Honors Academic Block classes with a teacher recommendation. An ELD Academic Block is provided in both seventh and eighth grade for students English Language Learners. Academic Seminar is offered for additional intervention and reteaching in English Language Arts.
